By creating an account, paying for membership or using Cruise Companions Club ("CCC", "the Club", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, please don't use the Club. We may update these Terms; we'll publish the updated version here and note the date it was last updated.

You must be at least 18 years old to hold a CCC membership. You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and you must not use CCC if you have previously been removed from the Club or are prohibited from using it under applicable law.

You agree to provide truthful, accurate information about yourself in your account and profile, and to keep it up to date. Impersonating another person, or creating a profile that is not genuinely you, is a serious breach of these Terms.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that takes place under your account. Please hold one account only. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

CCC is a global membership community for people who love to cruise. It exists so members can meet other cruise lovers, find travel and onboard companions, share experience and advice, and enjoy cruising in good company.

CCC is not a dating service and does not offer matchmaking guarantees. We provide a platform for connection. We are not a party to any arrangement, friendship, trip or agreement that members make with each other.

Interactions with other members are at your own risk. CCC does not screen, background-check, vet or endorse members, and cannot guarantee any member's identity, statements, intentions, conduct or suitability as a travel companion.

Take sensible precautions: take your time before meeting, meet first in public areas onboard or ashore, keep control of your own travel documents and money, make your own independent booking and payment decisions, and never send money to another member.

You choose what to share in your profile, including your bio, general location, cruise history and plans, and your Cruise Profile responses. Only share what you are comfortable being seen by other eligible members. Don't post content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights or privacy.

A clear photo of you is required before you become discoverable to other members or can initiate contact. The photo must be of you, must not be misleading, and must be appropriate for a general audience. Photos may be reviewed and may be removed if they don't meet these requirements.

Photo and identity verification is not currently operational. We intend to introduce verification through an appropriate third-party provider in future. If a verification badge is later displayed, it will indicate only that a specific technical check was completed. It will never mean the member has been background checked, is guaranteed safe, is guaranteed truthful, is guaranteed compatible, or is endorsed by CCC.

CCC intends to offer algorithmic and AI-assisted Companion Matching using information members choose to provide through their profile, Cruise Profile, cruise plans and preferences. This feature is in development and is not currently operational. When it launches, matches will be suggestions only — they are not guarantees of compatibility, character, conduct or safety, and you remain responsible for your own decisions about who you connect with.

Members connect by sending a connection request, which the other member may accept, decline, block or report. Private messaging is available between connected members and is for personal, non-commercial communication.

Blocking prevents further contact from the blocked member. You can report a member or a conversation at any time. Reports are reviewed by our moderators, and we may warn, restrict, suspend or remove members who breach these Terms or our Community Guidelines. We may retain moderation records for safety and legal purposes.

You must not:

• impersonate anyone or create a fake profile
• harass, bully, threaten or intimidate another member
• post or send hateful, discriminatory or explicit content
• ask any member for money, financial help, gift cards, cryptocurrency or investment, or attempt any scam or financial manipulation
• use the Club for advertising, recruitment or commercial solicitation
• continue contacting a member who has asked you to stop, or pressure anyone to meet, to move off-platform, to share accommodation, or into romantic or sexual contact
• share another member's private information, photos or messages without their permission
• scrape, copy, resell or misuse Club content or member data

Membership is charged in US dollars. There is one membership with one level of core access; the payment options are monthly (US$14), quarterly (US$36), annual (US$96) and Founding Lifetime (US$395 one-time, limited to 50 members in total).

Recurring memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Payments are processed by our checkout and payment providers; CCC does not store your full payment card details.

Membership access becomes active only when payment has been confirmed. If a payment fails, we may suspend access until the payment is resolved.

You may cancel a recurring membership at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Except where otherwise stated, membership fees already paid are generally non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded, and we will honour those rights.

Founding Lifetime Membership is a one-time payment granting the same core Club access as any other active membership, without a further recurring CCC membership fee for that access. "Lifetime" refers to the availability and continued operation of the CCC membership service, and is subject to these Terms, your account remaining in good standing, and applicable law. It is not a promise that CCC will operate in perpetuity. If your membership is terminated for breach of these Terms, Founding Lifetime access ends with it.

We may suspend or terminate a membership where a member breaches these Terms or our Community Guidelines, where we reasonably believe a member poses a risk to others, or where required by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we'll tell you why. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

You keep ownership of the content you post. By posting it you grant CCC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Club. All CCC branding, design and platform content remains our property or that of our licensors.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. We use trusted third-party providers for hosting, database and authentication services, checkout and payment processing, email delivery and support, and those providers may process data outside your country.

CCC may assist members with cruise enquiries and pass enquiries to an appropriate travel booking provider. Cruise bookings are not completed through the CCC member platform. Any travel booking, quote, payment or reservation is arranged with, and subject to the terms and conditions of, the relevant booking provider, cruise line and other travel suppliers, together with their cancellation, change and refund policies. CCC does not itself guarantee any travel arrangement, price or availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CCC is not liable for the conduct of any member, for any loss, injury or damage arising from member interactions or meetings, for travel arrangements made with third parties, or for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our liability is limited, to the extent permitted, to resupplying the membership service or refunding the membership fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applying at the place of CCC's principal place of business, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
